2007/08’s third project in this autumn’s First Year studio was kicked of with an intense disassembling and drawing workshop: a washer and a dryer taken apart, then sketched, measured and drawn.

Chiafang Wu “kicked off” the First Year Lunch Lectures, introducing the work of Diploma Unit 8 and ROEWUarchitecture.
She brought the following questions to the FY:
1. What are the differences between the indexical and the metaphoric and what are the limits of each?
2. Is architecture scientific or artistic?
