Mario Cucinella_Wednesdays SED Guest Lecture
The lecture focused on recent projects by Mario Cucinella Architecture [MCA] in Italy and China.
Mario Cucinella studied architecture at the University of Genoa and worked with the Renzo Piano Building Workshop for five years in Genoa and Paris. In 1992 he founded MCA in Paris and in 1999 Mario Cucinella Architects Srl. in Bologna.

Sustainable building design and the rational use of energy is one of the central concerns in MCA’s work and research.
He has taught and lectured in many schools of architecture in Europe and is currently a Visiting Professor at Nottingham University.
