About the AA

The Architectural Association School of Architecture is the most international school of architecture ever created: in Autumn, 2006 nearly 90% of our five hundred students have moved to London to attend the full-time courses of study at the AA School, allowing us to create a uniquely global form of architectural discussion, debate, learning and knowledge.

More than 3,000 members worldwide form the Architectural Association, which was formed in the mid-19th century as a learned society founded in the pursuit of architectural learning. As the UK’s oldest and only private school of architecture, today the AA stands at the forefront of architectural education worldwide.
